Xerion Homoeopathie is a busy homeopathic clinic in northwest Calgary offering a teaching clinic for individuals engaged in distance learning homeopathic study. Hours accredited in this clinic may be applied to those required for the Council for Homeopathic Certification, under the supervision of CCH certified homeopath (#462), Linda Miller.

Eligibility
Must have completed the AMCH Acute Care & First Aid Course or First Year of study in a distance learning study programme. Please download and fill out an application form.

NOTE: 5% per day will be deducted for late submissions
Observation of New Patient (NP)
8 hours will be accredited per initial consultation:
- 2 hours – observation of the homeopath taking the case
- 1 hours – follow-up discussion of the case immediately following case-taking
- 4 hours – case assessment, documentation of observations of the case and case-taking, rubric selection, repertorization, remedy selection
- 1 hour – group discussion prior to prescription of remedy
Work must be handed in to the Supervisor one week after observing the case.
Observation of Return Patients (RP)
2 hours will be accredited per follow-up consultation unless a full re-taking of the case is required. In that case, 4 hours will be credited.
- 1 hour – observation of the case
- 1 hour analysis
Work must be handed in to the Supervisor three days after observing the case.
Acute Care
Xerion Homoeopathie is a unique clinic with a busy walk-in clientele as well as visits by appointment. Acute Case-taking will be logged as one hour of clinic credit. A copy of the form will be kept at the clinic for easy reference in follow-ups with the walk-in client. A homeopath may or may not be available for assistance in acute case taking but will evaluate case-taking documentation.
