the xerion story  Separator searching for the immortal elixir

Erin is an entrepreneur with 10 years of success in building her business in a field that is ground-breaking to many Canadians. She chose homeopathy with her heart. Her artistic bent lends creativity and fun to the image. She has, one family at a time, developed a large, loyal following. She survived the challenge of a directly competing national chain moving right next door, and has advised other business owners on business strategies to overcome the “big box” threat. Her vision for expanding her business makes the world a better place.

After high school, Erin studied photography. Though she has an unusual talent for seeing a great photo, the starving artist scenario soon lost its luster. Her early experience working in a neighborhood health food store inspired her to write her second business plan at the age of 20. (The first one was at 13 for a community coffee shop, a great idea, but before its time!) With minimal funding and maximum willpower, Xerion Health Food opened its door in May of 2002.

The rest is history...many heart to hearts with customers on the couch at Xerion, coaching an anxious parent over the phone, advising on remedies in-store, delivering to hospital rooms...countless newsletters and classes as Xerion clientele grew. In 2004, at the age of 22 Erin was awarded the Rising Star Award by the Canadian Health Food Association. She remains the youngest recipient of this award.

Erin has been invited to speak to business owners, writes articles, advises on product formulation, and has become Canada’s most powerful ambassador for homeopathy. In addition to her position of CEO of Xerion Homoeopathie, she is on the board of directors of the Canadian Consumers’ Centre of Homeopathy, and is the President of the Western College of Homeopathic Medicine.

Xerion Homoeopathie sits poised for national expansion. She has Health Canada’s approval for a unique homeopathic product. She and her Great Dane, Django, continue to aspire to further adventures in making homeopathy a household word.
